Job summary

Plexus in Malaysia is seeking a process engineer to interface with factory technical staff and corporate engineering to define opportunities for standards development and cost savings. The role focuses on high-complexity manufacturing processes and solving manufacturing problems.

You will lead NPI process development DoE, tooling with NRE planning, and drive process qualification, validation, and continuous improvement of assembly flows, aiming for manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Degree in Engineering.
• Familiar with PCBA processes such as screen printing, component placement, reflow profiling, wave soldering, system assembly and rework.
• Good SPC and communication skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Interface with factory technical staff and corporate engineering to standardize processes and drive cost savings.
• Lead NPI process development DoE and tooling with NRE planning.
• Lead Process Qualification and Validation activities.
• Develop assembly processes work instructions and control plans for new products.
• Maintain and improve assembly process yield and DPMO.
• Respond to customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Thermal profile and machine recipe development.
