Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Malaysia seeks a Production Manager to lead Factory Supervisors, focusing on product quality, on-time delivery, and production efficiency. The role drives continuous improvement, planning, and staff development across the focused factory.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years in PCB assembly/LEAN manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure RCCA, RBA compliance, and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years related experience preferred.
• Technical expertise in PCB Assembly, SMT, RoHS, Mechanical Assembly, Lean, IPC Standards, and Quality Systems.
• Leadership role requires deep technical understanding to guide engineers and supervisors.
• Knowledge of PCB/SMT processes, microchip placement and soldering.
• Familiarity with RoHS regulations and IPC quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing team to meet KPIs: OTD, scrap reduction, yield, productivity, inventory.
• Plan and manage resources; build a multi-level, results-focused team; monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance to customer requirements and Plexus standards; drive RCCA for defects.
• Sponsor LEAN initiatives, 6S, GEMBA tours, and waste reduction programs.
• Provide contingency planning and communicate OTD, improvement efforts and manufacturing needs.
• Demonstrate Plexus Core Values; drive succession planning and staff development.
