NPI Engineer: Lead New Product Introductions to SOP

Job summary

FOZ One Sdn Bhd seeks an NPI Engineer in Malaysia to coordinate new projects from development to production. You will provide engineering support to meet quality, cost, and customer requirements and work with PMs to drive projects to SOP.

Responsibilities include leading assembly for new projects, preparing PFMEA/Work Instructions, performing root-cause studies, and optimizing cost and yield throughout development and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing with assembly exposure.
• Familiar with project management methods and tools.
• Experience in technical design, process development and project management.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics, 2D/3D CAD models.
• Experience in 4M & 1E method study for failure analysis; Lean/Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage new projects from development to production.
• Lead the assembly portion of new projects during development.
• Prepare process-related documentation for new projects (Flow, PFMEA, Work Instructions, CP, etc.).
• Discuss requirements with customers and develop strategies for samples.
• Perform root-cause analyses for problems found during development.
• Support Buy Off and Audit line production for new projects.
• Ensure on-time delivery with optimized cost and yield.
• Lead the NPI operation team from development to SOP.
