Job summary

Nexperia is seeking an experienced NPI Director to lead end-to-end industrialization of Assembly and FT technologies in Malaysia. You will manage a team of about 50, drive product ramp from concept to high-volume manufacturing, and optimize value-added through Direct Material decisions.

This role requires strategic partnership with Business Groups and rigorous Design for Excellence. Minimum 15+ years in Semiconductor Assembly/Test with 5–7 years in senior leadership; Master Black Belt in DMAIC;

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Semiconductor Assembly/Test
• 5–7 years in senior leadership overseeing large engineering functions
• Expert knowledge of advanced packaging technologies, material science, and equipment automation
• Master Black Belt level proficiency in DMAIC / Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and align cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end NPI and product lifecycle management for Assembly and FT
• Drive cost strategy and BOM ecosystem management with Global Procurement
• Develop and sustain organizational excellence, talent development, and succession planning
