Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Section Manager to oversee daily assembly operations in molding, plating, Trim & Form, and singulation, aligning output with production plans and quality targets. You will lead supervisors and operators and push Lean/Six Sigma initiatives in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years in semiconductor assembly or high-volume electronics manufacturing; process/production engineer or shift supervisor experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes, SPC, yield analysis, and problem-solving tools; Lean/Six Sigma exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly operations (molding, plating, Trim & Form, singulation).
• Execute production plans to meet output, cycle time, and delivery targets.
• Monitor line performance, yield and downtime; troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Guide and support supervisors and operators; develop leadership skills.
• Participate in Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams.
• Support new product introductions, line qualifications and process improvements.
