Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a Project Leader to guide a team of project leaders in semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, cost, and quality goals. You will drive governance, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 6+ years in a semiconductor environment, strong PM leadership, risk management, and familiarity with IATF 16949. PMP is a plus; MS Office proficient; you will lead cost planning with DFPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 6+ years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience in risk management and solving complex projects.
• Familiarity with quality systems, IATF 16949; PMP is an advantage.
• Experience in PFMEA and manufacturing quality tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Leadership mindset: results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of project leaders to achieve goals.
• Define and manage overall project plans with stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and within targets.
• Monitor progress, provide clear reporting, and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage project changes through formal change management.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical, cost, schedule, and quality risks.
• Build and allocate resources for a high-performing team.
• Provide operational guidance and conflict resolution within the team.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, including IATF 16949.
• Support IATF audits and related preparations.
• Collaborate with Finance on DFPC and cost planning.
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation in execution.
