Job summary

SC Johnson in Malaysia is seeking a New Product Development Specialist to drive strategies for new product development, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions across ASEAN. This role blends creativity with market insights to position SC Johnson as a leader in innovation and to deliver campaigns that resonate with customers.

You will lead the ASEAN NPD process, collaborate with MIM, RD&E, CIBA and sales, and measure campaign ROI to optimize future initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing; MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of commercial experience (Sales/Trade Marketing/Marketing).
• 3–5 years of FMCG new product development experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Understanding of the FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ASEAN NPD process and report progress to leadership.
• Pre-scope ideation and scoping to advance innovation.
• Ensure teams stay aligned with NS, DPM, FADs and MEAs during projects.
• Apply best-practice NPD launches for maximum impact.
• Develop whitespace innovation with 3rd-party manufacturers.
