Job summary

SC Johnson in Malaysia seeks a Senior Associate, Project Management (ASEAN) to orchestrate regional stakeholder engagement and project communications across the End-to-End New Product Development process. You will connect cross-functional teams, drive alignment on priorities and milestones, and enable commercialization and launches across ASEAN.

You will lead regional cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure projects follow SC Johnson processes.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Technical/Business Degree required, MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years of Project Management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, or purchasing/planning/distribution.
• Experience in new product launches, contract manufacturing and financial analysis related to operations.
• Experience using PM tools such as Microsoft Project/Microsoft Planner.
• PMI or APICS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional cross functional project team to ensure timelines and deliverables for commercialization and launch.
• Manage projects per SC Johnson’s processes and best practices.
• Develop regional timeline and risk mitigation plans to meet objectives.
• Engage Supply Chain SMEs to deliver key sub-processes and milestones.
• Execute projects per launch commitments defined in Regional project charter.
• Track progress, issue status reports, and escalate as needed.

Summary:

We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Senior Associate, Project Management (ASEAN), to orchestrate regional stakeholder engagement and project communications across the End-to-End New Product Development process. In this role, you will connect cross-functional teams, drive alignment on priorities and milestones, and enable the successful commercialization and launch of innovation projects across ASEAN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead regional cross functional project team to ensure Project timeline and key deliverables are completed for commercialization and launch of new products.

Successfully manage projects according to SC Johnson’s processes and best practices.

Develop and manage detailed regional timeline and risk identification/mitigation plans to achieve project objectives.

Assure all appropriate Supply Chain functional Subject Matter Expects are engaged to deliver key sub-processes and milestones required for the project, with particular focus on meeting Cost of Goods, Capital and Customer Service metrics for the project.

Execute projects per launch commitments in each country defined in scope of Regional project charter.

Track project progress against milestones, issue status reports and elevate issues as necessary to Product Change Manager.

Support project from Regional initiation through start up and supply chain stabilization.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

BS or BA in Technical/Business Degree required, MBA preferred.

Minimum 3-4 years of Project Management experience.

Previous project management experience required, preferably in manufacturing, or purchasing/planning/distribution.

Experience in new product launches, contract manufacturing and financial analysis as it relates to operations preferred.

Experience using any project management tools such as Microsoft Project/Microsoft Planner.

Project Management (PMI) or Supply Chain (APICS) certifications preferred.
