Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled NOC Network Engineer to own our network infrastructure, designing, deploying, and sustaining a robust, secure network that supports daily operations and long-term objectives.

You will lead capacity planning, documentation, policy development, and solution design while deploying LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VOIP, CCTV, and security measures. Candidates should have 2+ years in network engineering and related certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
Minimum 2 years in network engineering, NOC, or related role.
Proven experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN design and management.
Strong routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, OpenSSL knowledge.
Exposure to VPN, DDoS mitigation, WAF, SIEM, malware defense.
Experience with VMware and Linux operating systems.
Proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Capacity planning with technical manager to ensure scalable infrastructure.
Documentation of configurations, topology diagrams, processes, and service records.
Develop and maintain network policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Design innovative network solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
Design and deploy LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN and wireless networks, including servers and hardware.
Research network products and standards to stay current.
Oversee installation, configuration and upgrades of network equipment.
