Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise and data center network infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur. You will configure, implement, and troubleshoot network equipment and services, while supporting migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh projects.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong routing/switching, wireless, and security knowledge, and familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds or NetScout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent networking technologies.
• Experience in network implementation, migration, upgrades, or technology refresh projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot network equipment and services.
• Support network migration, infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh, and implementation projects.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve potential issues.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Perform preventive maintenance, planned changes, and on-call support when required.
• Support network security, infrastructure hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers on network projects and operations.
