Job summary

Maxis is seeking a seasoned corporate finance professional to lead valuation and business case work for new ventures. You will build unit economics, size markets, and test scenarios to guide investment decisions. The role involves due diligence, deal reviews, and presenting findings to senior management.

You will work closely with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to shape joint ventures and transactions, ensuring numbers are robust and decisions well supported.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years in corporate finance, M&A, or advisory, with three years in financial modelling.
• Experience on live transactions including valuation, due diligence and deal docs.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into a clear message for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Decide what is worth pursuing and size markets (TAM/SAM/SOM).
• Build unit economics (CAC, churn, LTV, payback, margins) and test pricing scenarios.
• Set gate criteria to decide whether a venture scales, changes course or stops.
• Shape deals and support JV/investment transactions through valuation and due diligence.
• Work with external advisors to structure and negotiate deals.
• Build and review valuation models (DCF, NPV, IRR, sensitivities).
• Test commercial assumptions and value drivers behind each case.
• Develop multi-year project finance models for relevant JVs with debt servicing.
• Prepare concise papers for management and the Board; liaise with company secretary and directors.
