Maxis, Malaysia's leading converged solutions provider, invites fresh graduates to join the PROTÉGÉ programme in the People & Transformation division. As a New Ventures Protege, you will learn planning, budgeting and forecasting for new ventures with mentoring from experienced managers.

You will gain hands-on experience in finance, performance management and P&L analysis, build business cases, conduct market research, and tell the story behind the numbers using Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 0–2 years of working experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic PowerPoint; bonus familiarity with Power BI or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning Cycle: assist in compiling data for the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts for new ventures.
• Performance Reporting: help prepare monthly financial reports and dashboards; monitor KPIs across acquisition, engagement, revenue and cost metrics.
• Data Analysis: analyze financial data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to automate manual reports using Excel or other tools.
• Market Research: conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights for new ventures.
• Business Case Building: assist in building business cases and financial models for proposals, partnerships and pricing strategies.
