invites a senior NPI/PM professional to drive new product introductions in our semiconductor manufacturing environment in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The role requires 7+ years in product development, manufacturing or project management, with deep knowledge of semiconductor processes and packaging, and strong cross-functional leadership to deliver prototypes to mass production on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• 7+ years in product development, manufacturing, or project management.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in scheduling and tracking software (MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Experience defining packaging architectures and process flows.
• Lead NPI from prototype to mass production, on time and within budget.
• Cross-functional coordination across Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Identify bottlenecks and mitigate risks to keep launches on track.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements in manufacturing.
• Budget management for NPI programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NPI development cycle from prototype to mass production, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Act as central point linking Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Draft DFM and evaluate designs for manufacturability at scale.
• Identify bottlenecks and mitigate risks to keep launches on track.
• Ensure prototypes and batches meet internal quality metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Manage NPI budgets and evaluate financial impact of design decisions.

• Education: Minimum : Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or relevant field.
• Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in product development, manufacturing, or project management.
• Technical Knowledge: Possess good experiences of semiconductor manufacturing processes & applications – Die Bond/Wire Bond/Mold/BGA Ball Mount/Singulation/Dicing/AOI .
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in scheduling and tracking software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
• Defining packaging architectures, material selection and process flows from conceptualization through production qualification.
• Lead the NPI development cycle from prototype to mass production, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within allocated budget & met all customer’s specifications.
• Act as the central point of contact linking Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain with cross-functional coordination.
• Draft DFM (Design for Manufacturability), evaluate product/process designs to ensure they can be efficiently and cost-effectively produced at scale.
• Identify project bottlenecks and risks, mitigating them to keep the launch on track.
• Ensure all prototypes and commercial batches meet internal quality metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Manage NPI budgets, track costs, and evaluate the financial impact of product design decisions.
