Job summary

Camtronics Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Executive to support engineering and manufacturing operations. You will manage BOMs, routings, costing, and supplier coordination to bring new products to market.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a related field and hold a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Science Materials. Strong English, Mandarin and Malay communication will help liaise with diverse clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Science Materials or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in a related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with BOM, costing, or manufacturing processes; training will be provided.
• Experience in supply chain, vendor management or manufacturing coordination is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Malay to liaise with diverse clients/suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Understand and study customer drawings to support customer requirements based on their drawings; treat customer drawings as NPI.
• Generate BOMs, routings, component options, and prepare costing calculations for new RFQs from customers.
• Coordinate and prepare samples according to customer specifications and ensure production starts on time.
• Occasionally assist in coordinating sample deliveries to warehouse/customers and track status.
• Ensure production follows customer specifications and monitor for early issues or misalignments.
• Liaise with Production to ensure orders can be delivered on the requested date.
• Support customer needs, including technical design reviews and price/quality/performance improvements.
• Liaise with customers about delivery dates and handle pull‑in/push‑out requests.
• Liaise with supply chain about delivery dates of materials and update Weekly Open Order Report to customers.
• Attend Business Review conducted by customers.

New Product Introduction (NPI) Executive

Camtronics Sdn Bhd is hiring a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Officer to support our expanding engineering and manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and study customer drawings to support customer requirements based on their engineering drawings, treating customer drawings as new product introductions (NPI)
• Generate Bills of Material (BOM), work on routings and component options, and prepare costing calculation for new RFQ (Request for Quotation) from customers
• Coordinate and prepare samples according to customer specifications and ensure production starts correctly and meets the agreed timeline
• Occasionally assist in coordinating sample deliveries to warehouse/customers, focusing on ensuring samples are ready on time and tracking their status
• Ensure production follows customer specifications exactly and monitor for early issues or misalignments
• Liaise with Production team and ensure orders can be delivered to customers on the requested date
• Support customer needs, including technical design reviews and offer solutions for cost savings, quality, and performance improvements
• Liaise with customers about the delivery date of their orders and handle pull-in and push-out requests from customers
• Liaise with supply chain team about the delivery date of materials and update Weekly Open Order Report (OOR) to customers
• Attend Business Review conducted by customers

About you

• Possess at least Diploma/Degree holder (Electrical/Electronic/Science Materials) or equivalent qualification
• 1 to 2 years working experience in a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with BOM, costing, or manufacturing processes is an advantage - but training will be provided
• Experience in supply chain, vendor management, or manufacturing coordination is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Malay to liaise with diverse clients, suppliers, or associates.
