Armstrong Auto Parts Sdn Bhd is seeking a New Product Introduction / New Model Development Engineer (SEREMBAN BRANCH) to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. This is a strategic position that plays a critical role in driving innovation and bringing new automotive products and models to market. You will be at the forefront of our product development initiatives, managing the complete lifecycle of new product introductions from concept through to successful launch. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge in the automotive parts industry and ensuring we meet evolving customer demands and market expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure products are delivered
• Monitoring and reporting the overall development progress
• Preparing technical documentation, including design specifications, process plans and work instructions for manufacturing teams
• Supporting process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce manufacturing costs
• Ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards, regulations and quality requirements throughout the development process
• Studying of drawing and specification, identify testing requirement and engaging with Technical partners for testing and monitoring until completion
• Any other task assigned by the Superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in product development, new model introduction or project management within the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, design principles, and quality systems including ISO/IATF 16949 or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills,
• Knowledge of automotive standards and regulatory requirements
