Job summary

AFI Brake in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support and improve our production and product development processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on mould design, manufacturing methods, and quality control, utilizing CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, with emphasis on IATF 16949 standards and internal audit practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive industries.
• Background in mould design and production planning is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools is expected.
• Experience with IATF 16949 standards and internal auditing is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and quality control standards
• Background in mould design/development and production planning is required
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Background in IATF 16949 standards and experience as an Internal Auditor is highly preferred.

Working Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm
