Manufacturing Management System (MMS) Manager
Job Function / Responsibilities / Authorities:
Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership & Compliance
- 1 .1. Ensure the integrity and compliance of the company's QMS across all three plants against ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and relevant regulatory and customer-specific standards.
- 1 .2. Act as the management representative for QMS; coordinate with certification bodies and external auditors; maintain timely certification and audit schedules across all plants.
- 1 .3. Oversee internal audit programs across three plants including planning, execution coordination, reporting and closure of corrective actions; review audit findings and drive corrective action completion; delegate audit execution to team members and track progress.
- 1 .4. Oversee maintenance and continual improvement of ISO/IATF documentation, procedures and systems across all plants; ensure documentation control processes are in place and functioning; review system changes and approve procedural updates.
- 1 .5. Facilitate management review meetings in accordance with QMS standards; ensure MRM schedules are met and records are maintained; present QMS performance data and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
Manufacturing Management System (MMS) & Continuous Improvement
- 2.1 Lead the development, execution, and rollout of the MMS program across three plants in coordination with production and engineering teams; delegate execution to team members; track progress and resolve implementation blockers.
- 2.2 Champion Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives and quality culture embedding across all plants; communicate MMS vision and objectives to plant leadership and operational teams.
- 2.3 Ensure that all process owners and production teams are accountable for product and process quality within MMS framework; work with plant heads to integrate MMS into operational accountability.
Training, Competence & Employee Development
- 3.1 Develop and manage QMS-related training programs, including onboarding for new employees, refresher training and role-specific competency certification; delegate training delivery to team members.
- 3.2 Establish competence matrices for QMS-related roles across all plants; work with plant heads and team leads to identify and close capability gaps; oversee training delivery and competence verification.
- 3.3 Track training records, completion rates, and effectiveness across all plants; ensure compliance with documentation and audit requirements.
- 3.4 Identify and develop rising talent within quality function across plants; support succession planning for Assistant Manager and senior team roles.
- 4.1 Establish and maintain consistent QMS practices, messaging and operational standards across all three plants; communicate policy changes and procedural updates to plant teams.
- 4.2 Lead regular QMS review meetings with plant heads and team members; elevate plant-specific issues and coordinate resolution across the network.
- 4.3 Liaise with plant management, production teams and support functions on QMS matters; facilitate cross-functional collaboration on quality improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder & External Relations
- 5.1 Maintain liaison with certification bodies to ensure timely and successful audits across all plants; coordinate audit preparation and remediation.
- 5.2 Manage escalated customer audits and customer feedback; coordinate responses across plants and ensure corrective action closure within agreed timelines.
- 5.3 Liaise with regulatory authorities and compliance bodies on QMS-related matters as required; ensure timely communication on compliance issues.
Documentation, Records & System Maintenance
- 6.1 Oversee document and records management for QMS across all plants; ensure control procedures are current, effective, and compliant.
- 6.2 Maintain QMS repository (policies, procedures, forms, audit schedules, training records, CAPA tracking) across three plants; ensure version control and accessibility.
