Motorola Solutions in Malaysia (Penang) invites a fresh graduate to join the Design & Develop batteries, chargers and power supply for two-way communication products. You will participate in concept design, 3D modelling, drawings and BOM management within a safety-conscious energy product team.

The role focuses on hands-on product development from concept to mass production, with opportunities to work on prototypes, test reports and documentation for user manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of material properties.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to communicate and present conceptual ideas to technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Creo Parametric 3D software & plastic tooling constructions is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Involved in product development from concept to mass production.
• Design concept designs meeting customer requirements and safety guidelines.
• Use 3D CAD to design new products and create 2D drawings.
• Perform mechanical tolerance analysis and DFMEA.
• Set up and maintain bill of materials.
• Support prototype/pilot builds and write test reports.
• Release mechanical prints and parts qualification reports.
• Compile information for user manuals or instruction sheets.
