Job summary

Ancile Solutions Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Network Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. You will troubleshoot and support LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, and install new network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT with strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of network security and design is desirable; CCNA/CCNP is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CCNA/CCNP certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Skills in network design and optimization for scalable and efficient solutions.
• Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, diagnose & support LANs, WANs, and wireless networks including routers, hubs, switches, WAN-accelerators and other hardware.
• Install, configure & deploy new network infrastructures such as switches, routers, firewalls & wireless access points.
• Lead projects and support network-related infrastructure independently.
• Research network products, services, protocols and standards to stay updated with developments in networking.
• Willing to work after office hours if required.
• Create and maintain documents related to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records using MS Office products like Word and Visio.
• Ensure that SLA are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
