Job summary

Singtel Group in Kuala Lumpur is launching a Global Business Services Center and seeks an experienced NOC Operations Engineer to own the operational health of managed systems, networks and hybrid-cloud services. You will lead 24x7 NOC delivery and act as Tier-2 escalation, protecting service continuity and accelerating restoration.

Responsibilities include coordinating shifts, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, and mentoring the operations team in a 24x7 environment while supporting AWS/Azure/Google

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
• 2–4 years in IT Service Management, networking and systems.
• Strong technical capability across networks, systems, VMware, storage, and hybrid-cloud technologies.
• Experience supporting NOC, data-centre, infrastructure-operations, or managed-services environments.
• Ability to lead or mentor operational support teams in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 NOC operations to maintain continuous 24x7 monitoring and support of system, network, and hybrid-cloud services.
• Coordinate shift engineers, handovers, escalations, and work priorities to meet procedures and service commitments.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, incidents, and service requests to ensure timely response, resolution, and service restoration.
• Act as the primary Tier 2 escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, working with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Improve team and service performance through coaching, incident trend analysis, risk reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills for Success

• Graduate from Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems
• Minimum 2-4 years of IT Service Management and Network, Systems environment
• Strong technical capability across networks, systems, VMware, storage, virtualisation, and hybrid-cloud technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and apply ITIL incident, problem, change, and service-management processes.
• Experience supporting NOC, data-centre, infrastructure-operations, or managed-services environments.
• Ability to lead or mentor operational support teams in a 24x7 environment while managing competing priorities.
• Capability to support public-cloud services across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and work effectively with customers and vendors.
