DIGITAL BRIGHT TECHNOLOGIES in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Mainframe Environment Support professional to manage SIT/UAT batch jobs and ensure processing meets SLAs.

The role requires 2–5 years hands-on mainframe experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, CICS, and Control-M, plus knowledge of banking or payments systems. Immediate start on a contract basis.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Execute monitor and control mainframe SIT UAT batch jobs accordingly
Ensure SIT UAT batch processing completes within defined SLAs and cutoff times
Monitor job execution using mainframe scheduling and monitoring tools controlM
Identify analyze and resolve batch job failures job abends restart issues anddata dependency problems
Perform job restarts reruns and recovery procedures based on documentedrunbooks and approvals
Manage inputoutput datasets file transfers and dependencies between batch jobsand upstreamdownstream systems
Escalate unresolved issues promptly to application support system programmersor operations teams with clear impact analysis

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of handson experience in a mainframe environment
Experience in setting up and maintaining SITUAT environments for mainframebasedapplications
Working knowledge of JCL TSOISPF VSAM CICS and ControlM

GOOD TO HAVE
Knowledge on ControlM batch processing tool
Experience in using JIRA and Remedy Workflow Application
Understanding of cards and payments systems
Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging standards
Experience in banking or financial services environments
