Job summary

Eco Interiors International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Multitask Technician / Handyman to support interior fit-out projects across office premises and sites in Malaysia.

The role covers carpentry, plumbing, painting and installation tasks, with an emphasis on hands-on problem solving and safe work practices. Experience in handyman or maintenance is advantageous, and formal certificates are not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in handyman, maintenance or interior fit-out is preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple hands-on tasks across trades.
• Formal technical certificates are not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repair, maintenance and handyman works at offices and project sites.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks including leaky pipes and sanitary fittings.
• Paint, touch-up, patch walls and perform minor repairs.
• Install and repair furniture, cabinets, fixtures and shelves.
• Assist with carpentry, drilling, mounting and installations.
• Handle basic electrical-related tasks where competent and permitted.
• Support site rectification and defect repairs.
• Operate tools safely and follow instructions.
• Take on ad hoc maintenance duties as assigned.

Multitask Technician / Handyman (Interior Fit-Out Project)

• Perform general repair, maintenance and handyman works at office premises and interior fit-out project sites.
• Carry out basic plumbing works, including repairing leaking pipes, replacing taps and installing sanitary fittings.
• Perform painting, touch-up works, patching and minor wall repairs.
• Install, assemble and repair furniture, cabinets, fixtures, fittings, shelves and other interior components.
• Assist with basic carpentry, drilling, mounting and installation works.
• Carry out minor electrical-related tasks where competent and legally permitted.
• Assist with site rectification, defect repairs and other maintenance works as required.
• Handle tools and equipment properly and ensure work is completed safely and according to instructions.
• Perform other ad hoc technical and maintenance duties assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Practical experience in handyman, maintenance, renovation, interior fit-out or general repair works is an advantage.
• Able to perform multiple types of hands-on work, such as plumbing, painting, installation and general repairs.
• Candidates with practical skills and relevant working experience are encouraged to apply, even without formal technical certificates.
• Able to work independently, solve basic technical problems and complete assigned tasks.
• Willing to travel to different project sites when required.
• Hardworking, reliable, responsible and willing to learn.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport would be an advantage.
