Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer support, strong English communication, and a service‑minded approach to add‑on sales and customer satisfaction. This is a full‑time on‑site position in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years in a customer-facing support role or call centre.
• Able to act as main support channel before, during and after purchases.
• Passionate about growing business and helping people with the team.
• Flexible, fast, and simple in getting things done.
• Experience handling complaints or crises and finding win–win solutions.
• Courteous, professional, and friendly on the telephone.
• Self-reliant and able to work in a team or independently.
• Confident and clear written and spoken English.
• Comfortable using a computer and engaging customers throughout the buying journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions by identifying customer needs and using IKEA systems to offer options.
• Own customer issues; communicate timelines and keep customers informed.
• Maintain service levels by collaborating with colleagues and ensuring timely responses.
• Offer advice on add‑on sales based on store operations knowledge.
• Promote IKEA products and services to improve home‑to‑home shopping experiences.
• Seek and provide constructive feedback to improve the shopping experience.
• Support IKEA Malaysia customers with a consistent tone of voice.
• Assist colleagues across the contact centre as needed and stay compliant and secure.
• Stay informed on IKEA results and seek cost‑effective ways of working.
