Job summary

Maxis is offering an internship in the MSOC team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist in monitoring network and cloud services, logging incidents, and ensuring SLAs are met under supervision. The role covers AWS, Azure, VMware, and network devices across our managed services environment.

Open to undergraduate students seeking industry experience. A 3–6 month placement provides hands-on exposure to cutting-edge telecom infrastructure and cross-functional collaboration with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing IT/Engineering/Computing.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on MSOC environment.
• Basic understanding of networks and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network dashboards and log incidents per SOPs.
• Provide Level 1 cloud monitoring for AWS, Azure, and VMware.
• Maintain network devices under supervision of senior engineers.
• Track network performance metrics and report findings.
• Assist infrastructure upgrades and project documentation.
• Manage tickets and SLAs with support teams.
• Communicate incident updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MSOC reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends to improve MSOC.
