Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a production technician to set up, start up, shut down, maintain and repair moulding machines to meet requirements. Ensure machinery runs in good condition and verify their safety and functionality.

Responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting production processes for quality and productivity; troubleshooting machine issues; assisting with trials and optimization of plastic injection molding; and keeping detailed records of settings, output, downtime and scrap.

• Ensure machinery runs in good condition and verify the functionality and safety of the equipment
• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity
• Troubleshoot operation and machine adjustments
• Assist in trials and optimization of the plastic injection molding process
• Keep detailed records of machine settings, production counts, downtime and scrap

Job description

Setup, start up, shutdown, maintenance and repair moulding machine to meet requirements

Ensure machinery running in good condition and verify the functionality and safety of the machinery

Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity

Troubleshoot operation and machine adjustment, maintenance of injection moulding equipment

Assist Superior for performing trial operations, debug and optimize plastic injection molding process

Assist Engineer to investigate problems related to process, equipments and product to find the root cause and drive the solutions

Keep detailed records of machine settings, production count records and any downtime or scrap produced

Collect hazardous or non-hazardous waste in correctly labeled barrels or other containers and transfer them to collection area

Clean the delicate surfaces of the mould to prevent buildup that could damage the finish of the plastic parts

Support department's involvement for company activities: 5S, ICC, Safety and Shikit-Shikit Kaizen

Support in documentation and report related to Department.
