Job summary

Broadcom in Penang seeks an experienced leader to guide a high-performing team of IC Design Engineers in the end-to-end development of Motion Control Sensor ASICs. You will own the technical architecture, design development, people management, and full-lifecycle execution.

Qualifications

• PhD / Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years of technical management experience.
• Deep expertise in the ASIC process flow for Analog, Digital and Layout Design.
• Experience in industry-standard EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
• Experience in foundry fabrication process
• Electrical Wafer Sort experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of IC Design Engineers in end-to-end development of Motion Control Sensor ASICs.
• Oversee technical architecture, design development, people management, and full lifecycle project execution.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and be responsible for all ASIC deliverables.
• Ownership extends beyond tape-out to include customer trials, field issues, and product sustainability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across Optics, Magnetic, Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing engineering.
