Maybank in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Mortgage Specialist to advise customers on mortgage products, explain loan structures, and guide applicants through the end-to-end mortgage process. You will assess financial profiles, prepare documentation, coordinate with credit and operations teams, and ensure compliance with policies.

• Mortgages and mortgage lending expertise: loan structures, credit assessment, regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess skills in mortgage marketing and customer acquisition, with the ability to identify prospects, promote mortgage products, and support branch sales activities.
• Solid finance knowledge: basic financial analysis, affordability assessment, and familiarity with banking products.
• Excellent customer service: communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and manage customer expectations professionally.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with branch staff and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work towards sales targets while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with bank policies.
• Prior experience in retail banking, mortgage sales, or consumer lending is an advantage; proficiency in banking systems and MS Office is beneficial.
