Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Mortgage Credit Evaluator in Malaysia to assess creditworthiness and risk for mortgage applications. You will evaluate applicants’ financial status, provide recommendations, and approve within discretionary limits while ensuring timely processing.

The role requires a Malaysian citizen with a relevant bachelor's degree and a solid understanding of mortgage lending and credit risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies or equivalent.
• Experience in credit evaluation and loan approvals is preferred.
• Familiarity with mortgage lending and credit risk concepts.

Responsabilités

• To perform credit evaluation, recommendations and approval for Mortgage applications.
• To evaluate and recommend loans for approval beyond their discretionary power.
• To evaluate applicant's financial status, credit worthiness and risk before providing credit terms.
• To ensure mortgage applications are processed within internal turnaround time.
• To detect fraudulent application, tampered/suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to the Fraud Management Unit.
