Job summary

Choo Bee Metal Industries is seeking a junior MIS/Information Systems assistant in Ipoh. Diploma or degree in Information Systems or a relevant qualification is required; fresh graduates or 1–2 years’ experience are welcome.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic VBA/SQL knowledge is preferred; ERP experience is a plus. Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy for reports, designing and developing dashboards, generating routine management reports, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Systems or a relevant qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic VBA/SQL knowledge; ERP experience is a plus.
• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years’ MIS-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy, validity and integrity of data for reports used by Top Management and other departments.
• Assist in designing and developing reports/dashboards with data integration to the MIS.
• Generate routine reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) for management.
• Coordinate with IT and vendors regarding software, data communication services and hardware as required.
• Ensure timely reporting of data (sales, production, inventories) for decision-making by Top Management.
• Act as back-up for MIS in generating daily reports during absences.
• Communicate with users from other departments to resolve MIS-related issues and plan necessary actions.
• Assist in monitoring distribution data and generate monthly performance reports.
