Job summary

Confidential Malaysia-based mining company seeks a Warehouse & Inventory Manager to lead operations across multiple sites, ensuring stock availability and cost control.

You will drive digitization, implement process improvements, and coach teams to high performance while maintaining safety standards.

Requires 8–10 years in warehousing/inventory, proficiency in ERP/WMS and Excel, and willingness to travel to mining sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in warehouse, inventory, logistics or SCM, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Willingness to travel regularly and stay at mining sites during audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and inventory operations across mining sites and warehouses.
• Drive productivity improvements through process optimization, automation, and digitization.
• Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials and spare parts with strict accuracy.
• Develop predictive models to forecast potential stock losses and shortages.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to ensure uninterrupted mining operations.
• Control warehouse P&L, track costs, and identify efficiency gains.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and safety standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams to achieve high performance.
