Job summary

Fortress Mining Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Site Administration Manager for our Terengganu mining operations.

You will lead non-technical support teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with internal departments and authorities to keep site operations efficient and safe. The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial capacity, and a hands-on, proactive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, quarrying, heavy industry, manufacturing, construction or remote-site operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian regulatory compliance and government authority liaison.
• Proven leadership managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Budgets, cost control, facilities management and cross-department coordination.
• Proficient in Excel and administrative reporting systems.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin/Cantonese an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee site administration, handyman, housekeeping, camp, canteen, security and other non-technical support teams.
• Coordinate licensing, permits, submissions, renewals, inspections and audits with authorities.
• Oversee offices, staff accommodation, canteen operations, building maintenance and employee welfare facilities.
• Manage security personnel, CCTV, site access controls and incident reporting.
• Control administrative budgets, petty cash and utility costs.
• Coordinate site IT support, travel, accommodation, and hospitality for visitors.
• Act as central hub for mine tech, processing and maintenance departments.
• Support HSE and EO in regulatory documentation and inspections.
• Supervise staff, track overtime, and enforce performance improvements.
• Coordinate administrative matters with local communities and authorities.
