Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Penang, Malaysia seeks a General Affairs Manager to lead site administration, employee support services, and facilities operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations.

You will optimize canteen, transport, security, and workplace services; manage outsourced providers; support RBA audits and customer requirements; and collaborate with HR, EHS, procurement and operations to enhance employee experience.

Qualifications

• Lead site administration and facilities operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment.
• Oversee workplace facilities, employee amenities, and administrative services to support business operations.
• Oversee canteen services, ensuring food quality, hygiene, safety, regulatory compliance, and employee satisfaction.
• Manage employee transportation services, including route planning, vendor performance, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Lead site security operations covering access control, visitor management, CCTV monitoring, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Oversee employee hostel and accommodation facilities, ensuring compliance, safety, welfare, and service quality standards.
• Serve as the site focal point for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements and support customer and compliance audits.
• Ensure administrative services, accommodation, transportation, food services, and security operations comply with company policies and applicable standards.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality and employee experience.
• Prepare and manage administration budgets, monitor expenditure, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Partner with HR, EHS, Operations, Procurement, and external stakeholders to enhance workplace services and employee welfare.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with RBA standards and customer requirements.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related discipline
