Job summary

Boustead Estates Agency Sdn Bhd invites graduates to join its palm oil mill operations team. You will assist daily operations, monitor machinery, and support preventive maintenance while gaining exposure to processing and engineering projects.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or chemical engineering background, strong analytical skills, and willingness to relocate across Malaysia including Sabah. English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency is required, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Candidates with internship or experience in palm oil mills/manufacturing and possess relevant professional certification will have an added advantage.
• Willing to relocate across Malaysia (Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak).
• Proficient with computer, including document processing software (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of palm oil mill machinery and equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor mill production processes and equipment performance.
• Assist in ensuring smooth and efficient mill operations.

• Conduct inspections of machinery, equipment and mill facilities.
• Assist in maintaining engineering records, reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for maintenance and repair works.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational requirements.
• Assist with monitoring maintenance schedules, costs and work progress.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Mill Manager or Engineer.
