Job summary

Axi, a global CFD and FX broker, seeks a candidate for a 12‑month fixed-term contract in its Middle Office team in Malaysia. You will own daily reconciliations of client positions and Prime Broker accounts, monitor platform health, and investigate discrepancies across MT4, MT5 and proprietary systems.

You will collaborate with Trading, Sales, Client Services, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Technology to resolve issues, document findings, and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in middle office, trading operations, or brokerage operations environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliation workbooks.
• Working knowledge of trading fundamentals: positions, P&L, client accounts.
• Fluent written and spoken English with precise documentation.
• Familiarity with MT4 or MT5 is a strong plus.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Python is advantageous.
• You ask questions to drive resolution and own outcomes.
• Comfort operating independently while coordinating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliations of client positions, cash balances, and Prime Broker accounts; escalate complex discrepancies with context.
• Administer MT4, MT5, and proprietary platforms; configure trading servers and rebate processing.
• Monitor platform health in real time and escalate issues before clients are affected.
• Lead end-to-end investigation of routine trading and reconciliation discrepancies; document findings.
• Maintain records, enforce internal controls, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Trading, Sales, Client Services, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and propose automation or workflow improvements.
• Deliver on additional duties as required.
