Job summary

Axi seeks a detail-oriented Middle Office professional in Malaysia for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will own the daily reconciliations, platform health checks, and discrepancy investigations across MT4, MT5, and our proprietary systems.

You’ll coordinate with Trading, Sales, Client Services, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology to resolve issues, document findings, and drive process improvements with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in middle office, trading operations, or brokerage operations.
• Intermediate Excel skills used day-to-day: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliation workbooks.
• Fluent written and spoken English with precise discrepancy documentation.
• Familiarity with MT4/MT5 is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliations of client positions, cash balances, and Prime Broker accounts.
• Administer MT4, MT5, and proprietary platforms – back-office configuration, server settings, rebates.
• Monitor platform health in real time and escalate operational issues before clients are affected.
• Lead end-to-end investigation of routine trading and reconciliation discrepancies with clear documentation.
• Maintain records, enforce controls, and meet regulatory requirements across tasks.
• Drive cross-functional queries with Trading, Sales, Client Services, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology.
• Identify repetitive processes and propose automation or workflow improvements.
• Deliver on additional duties and projects to meet evolving business needs.
