Job summary

Unison Group is seeking an experienced Purview specialist to lead end-to-end implementation activities across the Microsoft 365 suite. You will translate architectures into workbooks, plans, and documentation while configuring and validating Purview controls in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and other endpoints.

The role requires hands-on experience with Purview, DLP, insider risk, and eDiscovery in enterprise environments, plus collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and IT

Qualifications

• Hands-on Purview implementation experience in enterprise security and governance.
• Experience translating purview designs into configuration workbooks, plans and docs.
• Ability to implement Purview controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementation activities aligned to information protection, DLP, insider risk, and eDiscovery.
• Translate approved Purview architecture into configuration workbooks, deployment plans, and technical documentation.
• Configure and validate Purview controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and 365 apps.
• Lead configuration walkthroughs, testing, policy validation, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Privacy, Identity, Endpoint, SOC, IT Security teams on prerequisites and decisions.

Job description

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementation activities aligned to Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, and Audit.
• Implement sensitivity labels, label publishing, auto-labelling, DLP policies, Endpoint DLP controls, insider-risk policies, communication-compliance policies, retention controls, records-management policies, eDiscovery cases, and audit requirements.
• Translate approved Purview architecture and detailed designs into configuration workbooks, implementation plans, build procedures, test cases, deployment activities, and technical documentation.
• Configure and validate Purview controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 applications, and supported endpoints.
• Lead configuration walkthroughs, technical testing, policy validation, defect resolution, implementation-evidence review, and deployment-readiness activities.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Privacy, Identity, Endpoint, Messaging, SOC, IT Security, and client technology teams to manage prerequisites, dependencies, access, and implementation decisions.

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview in enterprise security, compliance, data-protection, or information-governance environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Purview Information Protection, sensitivity labels, auto-labelling, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint DLP, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, and Audit.
• Ability to implement approved Purview designs across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 applications, and supported endpoints.
• Familiarity with built-in and custom Sensitive Information Types, Exact Data Match, trainable classifiers, retention controls, Purview role groups, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender XDR integration points.
• Strong understanding of Purview configuration, testing, policy simulation, phased enforcement, implementation evidence, technical documentation, and end-to-end delivery
