Job summary

Suntone Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Kampong Tampoi, Johor, seeks a hands-on quality/inspection technician to train inspectors on test measurement procedures, collect KPI data and monitor trends.

The role focuses on maintaining calibration of all gauges, performing FAI tests on new parts per specs, conducting GRR studies, and driving improvements in measurement precision, throughput and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Train and guide inspectors for appropriate test measurement procedures; collect data for KPI monitoring and trend analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate all equipment/gauges at all times.
• Perform FAI inspection on new parts according to customer specifications and engineering drawings; conduct GRR and correlation studies to qualify equipment conversion and evaluate measurement methods.
• Improve existing measurement and inspection precision, as well as equipment throughput and uptime; develop qualifications for new measurement system, methods, fixtures and equipment.
• Redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors or correlation factors; maintain and update master calibration list.

2) Ensure all equipment / gauges are properly maintained and calibrated at all times. Perform FAI inspection on new part according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. Conducting GRR & correlation studies to qualify equipment conversion, as well as evaluate measurement / inspection methods

3. Improve existing measurement & inspection precision, as well as equipment throughput and uptime. Develop and drive qualifications for new measurement system, methods, fixtures and equipment

4. Redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors or correlation factors. Maintain and update master calibration list

5. Review calibration records supplied by calibration vendors . Troubleshooting measurement equipment programs and systems when malfunctions
