Job summary

Suntone Technology (M) Sdn Bhd, located in Kampong Tampoi, Johor, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to track KPI data and trends, train inspectors, and approve first-piece inspections to ensure quality at startup.

The role includes weekly defect analysis, daily production audits, and leading investigations into non-conformances to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Manufacturing preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical/Manufacturing preferred).

Responsibilities

• Track and collect data for KPI monitoring, reporting and trends analysis.
• Train inspectors on inspection methods, equipment handling and quality standards.
• Prepare QSI, verify and approve first-piece inspections at startup to ensure quality compliance.
• Lead weekly defect analysis, monitor reject rates and plan improvements using Pareto analysis.
• Perform daily production line audits and collaborate with production teams to implement improvements.
• Lead investigations into internal process rejections and customer complaints related to moulded parts.

1) To track and collect data for KPI monitoring, reporting and analyze the trendsTrain inspectors on inspection methods, equipment handling, and quality standardsPrepare QSI, verify, and approve first-piece inspections at startup to ensure quality compliance.

2) Create and conduct training for subordinates, and motivate the team for continuous improvement.Perform weekly defect analysis, track reject rates, and plan improvements using pareto analysis.

Perform daily audits on the production line, collaborating closely with production teams to identify and implement improvements based on findings.

3)Lead investigations into internal process rejections and customer complaints related to moulded parts Document and report any non-conformance or deviations.

4)Monitor the overall competency of the quality assurance team in the areas of measurement, inspection or detection, and defects prevention measures.

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical/Manufacturing preferred).
