Job summary

Kako Suntax (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a QA/Metrology Engineer to drive measurement system optimization across new and existing products. You will review drawings, ensure MSOP readiness, and train technicians on measurement equipment.

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical/Materials/QA Engineering, strong GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5, CMM programming ability, and at least two years' experience; frequent travel, especially to Singapore, is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Material/QA Engineering or related experience.
• Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
• Practical knowledge in operating OMM and CMM, with ability to perform CMM programming.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities

• Review and input testing requirements and methodologies for new drawings/parts/tooling/fixtures.
• Create MSOP for New Product Introduction and existing products.
• Train Technicians/Inspectors on measurement equipment and MSOP usage.
• Maintain calibration of measurement/test equipment per ISO 17025 or stated standards.
• Design and coordinate fabrication of jigs for measurement/test purposes.
• Source, review and recommend new measurement/test equipment.
• Perform MSA - GRR and correlation (internal and with customer).
• Ensure FA measurement data accuracy and provide initial analysis.
• Frequent travel is required for business needs, especially to Singapore.
• Perform other tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

Practical knowledge and experience in operation OMM and CMM, with the ability to perform CMM programming.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
