Job summary

NEXT Ventures is seeking a Trading Platform Engineer (MetaTrader) to maintain and scale MT4/MT5 trading platforms hosted on AWS. You will work at the intersection of trading technology, infrastructure, and DevOps/SRE, collaborating with trading, risk, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include deploying and tuning MT4/MT5 servers, managing terminals and trading configurations, and implementing reliability improvements across live, demo, and test environments.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience with MetaTrader platforms (MT4/MT5).
• Experience in brokerage, liquidity provider, prop trading, or trading technology environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting production trading platforms and operational environments.
• Experience using MetaTrader Admin/Manager terminals for accounts, groups, and symbol management.
• Strong knowledge of configuring trading conditions such as leverage, margin, commissions, swaps, and spreads.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage MetaTrader infrastructure and MT4/MT5 servers across AWS or other environments.
• Improve reliability by monitoring platform health, latency, connectivity, and trading performance.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, operations, and engineering teams to support integrations and reduce downtime.
• Plan platform upgrades, patches, and changes with minimal disruption to trading operations.
• Create runbooks, SOPs, and maintain documentation following DevOps/SRE practices.
