Job summary

HFM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Platform Administrator (MT4/MT5) to lead the maintenance, optimization, and incident response of trading servers. The role includes on-call duties and weekend maintenance.

You will diagnose complex production issues, deploy server upgrades, configure hosting and disaster-recovery environments, and mentor junior staff while driving automation and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 2 years on trading platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 server administration.
• Expert Windows Server administration with scripting in PowerShell and Python.
• Strong networking, high-availability and disaster-recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and incident response of MT4/MT5 trading servers, including on-call and weekend maintenance activities.
• Diagnose complex production issues and liaise with MetaQuotes for timely resolution.
• Test and deploy Windows server builds, plugins, and upgrades, including new installations.
• Configure and manage hosting, disaster-recovery environments, bridges, and LP systems.
• Design and implement platform solutions and drive mid-to-large scale infrastructure projects.
• Develop operational procedures, automate tasks, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Train and mentor junior and mid-level administrators to improve readiness.
