Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on application developer with 2–3 years of experience to support and develop MES solutions. The role involves contributing to release planning, testing, and troubleshooting in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate has Diploma/Bachelor in CS/IT and hands-on experience with MS SQL, ASP, VB, and C#.NET, plus familiarity with Crystal Reports and Office 365. Immediate start in Penang area likely.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ hands-on application development experience.
• Experience in MES system support and development.
• Contribute to release planning, configuration changes, and testing.
• Interact with internal teams and 3rd‑party vendors to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and MS SQL/ASP/VB/C#.NET.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support MES-related applications.
• Contribute to problem solving and changes for the solution.

• Suggest improvements and scalability enhancements.

Experience in the supporting and developing solutions for MES system.

Contribute to testing of application and documented down the testing report.

To examine potential areas for improvement and raise proposals.

Provide input to application scalability.

Interact with internal teams and external 3rdparty vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems.

Knowledge on creating and customizing crystal report.

Creative mindset on resolving issue.

Experience in MS SQL server 2008 /2012, ASP, VB, C# Dot Net.

Experience in Microsoft office 365 would be added advantage.
