Job summary

SEMI Integration Malaysia is seeking a MES Business & Implementation Consultant to lead MES deployment for manufacturing customers across regional projects.

You will translate production workflows into MES solutions, train users, support go-lives, and collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations. Requires Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT/CS/Engineering, 3+ years MES experience, Mandarin proficiency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MES implementation, manufacturing IT systems, or related roles
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as production planning, quality control, and material management
• Familiarity with MES or factory management systems is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and manufacturing data interfaces is a plus
• Experience in Semiconductor, PV Solar, PCB, or PCBA manufacturing environments is preferred
• Able to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and project teams

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for manufacturing customers
• Understand factory production workflows and translate business requirements into MES system solutions
• Support MES functions such as production planning, quality management (IQC, PQC, FQC, SPC), material tracking, and equipment-related processes
• Conduct system testing, user training, and go-live support at customer sites
• Coordinate and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and quality delivery
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentation materials
• Engage with key stakeholders, participate in project meetings, and support project objectives
• Support local and overseas customers through on-site and remote engagements
• Travel frequently, including overseas travel, based on project needs
