Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Application Developer - Regional, based in Senai, Johor, to design, develop, and maintain MES (MESPRO) applications and collaborate with stakeholders across regions.

You will own projects, deliver within defined timelines, and provide architecture guidance for MES implementations while working with global teams in different time zones. Strong problem-solving and ownership are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in software development.
• Proven track record in delivering enterprise-level applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MES (MESPRO) applications based on business and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and clarify system requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver within defined timelines.
• Develop scalable, high-quality, and maintainable software solutions.
• Provide solution design and system architecture guidance for MES implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Support deployment, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
• Handle multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
