Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Executive (Product & Operations) to support end-to-end merchandising activities, including product launch coordination, purchasing processes, and ERP system management.

You will coordinate with the Design, Suppliers, and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate product data, timely purchase orders, and smooth product launches, while maintaining documentation and records.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply chain, Merchandising, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years working experience in merchandising, purchasing, or retail operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and good coordination skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Product Launch Coordination: assist in preparing and executing new product launch announcements; coordinate with Design to develop catalogues and materials; ensure product info (images, specs, pricing) is complete before launch.
  • ERP & Product Setup: create and maintain new item codes in ERP; ensure accuracy of product data; update product information for operational use.
  • Purchase Order Management: prepare and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers; verify purchase details; maintain documentation.
  • Supplier Coordination & Delivery Follow-up: follow up with suppliers on production status and delivery timelines; coordinate with warehouse/logistics; resolve delays.
  • Documentation & 3-Way Matching: ensure proper 3-way matching (PO, DO, Invoice); maintain organized records.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: handle stock conversion in system; manage product master files; assist in reports and product sheets; support cross-department coordination; participate in projects.

Merchandising Executive (Product & Operations)

Working hour: 8:00am to 5:45pm (Monday to Friday)

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandising Executive (Product & Operations) to support end-to-end merchandising operations, including product launch coordination, purchasing processes, and system management.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth product launches by coordinating with cross-functional teams (Graphic Design, Suppliers, Warehouse) and maintaining accurate documentation and system records.

What you'll be doing

  1. Product Launch Coordination
    • Assist in preparing and executing new product launch announcements.
    • Coordinate with the Design team to develop product catalogues and marketing materials.
    • Ensure all product information (images, specs, pricing) is complete before launch.
  2. ERP & Product Setup
    • Create and maintain new item codes in the ERP system. Ensure accuracy of product data.
    • Update product information in a timely manner for operational use.
  3. Purchase Order Management
    • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers. Verify purchase details
    • Maintain proper documentation for all purchasing activities.
  4. Supplier Coordination & Delivery Follow-up
    • Follow up with suppliers on production status and delivery timelines.
    • Coordinate with warehouse/logistics team to ensure smooth goods receipt.
    • Resolve delays or discrepancies with suppliers proactively.
  5. Documentation & 3-Way Matching
    • Ensure proper 3-way matching (PO, Delivery Order, Invoice). Verify accuracy before submission.
    • Maintain organized records for audit and internal tracking.
  6. Inventory & Stock Management
    • Handle stock conversion processes in the system where required.
    • Support in managing product master files and documentation.
    • Assist in preparing reports, product sheets, and internal documentation.
    • Support cross-department coordination.
    • Participate in ad-hoc merchandising projects and improvements.

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply chain, Merchandising, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years working experience in merchandising, purchasing, or retail operations.

Strong attention to detail and good coordination skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through timelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
