Job summary

BD in Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking a Materials and Process Engineer to drive development activities and manage related projects at the Kulim site. The role requires coordinating across manufacturing, quality, and purchasing to advance material qualifications and process improvements.

You will oversee project schedules, prepare design specifications and validations, and pursue opportunities to reduce waste and improve cost and quality in current and future BD products.

Responsibilities

• Materials and process development related activities.
• Manage and implement materials and process related projects.
• Manage and implement stay-in-business related projects, if any.
• Identify opportunities for materials waste reduction and new materials development.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Manager and Senior Management on project opportunities and progress updates.
• Liaise with Quality and Purchasing on material qualifications.
• Manage project schedules and timelines.
• Prepare project documentation including capital requests, design specifications and validations
• Carry out other assignments as instructed by immediate Supervisor.
