Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, invites applications for a full-time, on-site position in Kedah, Kulim. The role focuses on materials and process development and the management of related projects, with emphasis on cost and quality improvements across current and future products.

The successful candidate will liaise with Manufacturing Management, Quality, and Purchasing teams to progress opportunities, manage schedules, and prepare design specifications and validations.

Responsibilities

• Materials and process development related activities.
• Manage and implement materials and process related projects.
• Manage and implement stay-in-business related projects, if any.
• Identify opportunities for materials waste reduction and new materials development.
• Improve cost and/or quality on current and future products.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Manager and Senior Management on project opportunities and progress updates.
• Liaise with Quality and Purchasing on material qualifications.
• Manage project schedules and timelines.
• Prepare project documentation including capital requests, design specifications and validations.

• Carry out other assignments as instructed by immediate Supervisor.
