Job summary
Teepham Medical Sdn Bhd in Butterworth, Penang is looking for a Medical Sales Representative to drive growth and build relationships with hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals. As a full-time member of our sales team you will present products, tailor proposals, meet targets, provide product education, and collaborate with marketing and operations.
English and Bahasa Malaysia are valued, and a driving licence is preferred.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in medical or pharmaceutical sales
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Willingness to travel within the Penang region
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business or sales
- Valid driving licence and own transportation
Responsibilities
- Identify, contact and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, medical centres and healthcare professionals
- Present and demonstrate medical products to healthcare providers, highlighting key features, benefits and clinical advantages
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics
- Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals and staff
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategy
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline management
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations and management to support business objectives
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities and regulatory requirements within the healthcare sector

Teepham Medical Sdn Bhd is seeking a Medical Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team on a full-time basis in Butterworth, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and medical institutions across the region. As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, promoting our medical products and solutions whilst ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position is critical to our business growth strategy and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.
Identify, contact and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, medical centres and healthcare professionals
Present and demonstrate medical products to healthcare providers, highlighting key features, benefits and clinical advantages
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics
Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals and staff
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategy
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline management

Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities and regulatory requirements within the healthcare sector
Proven track record of success in medical or pharmaceutical sales, or related B2B sales roles
Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, medical products and healthcare purchasing processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage healthcare professionals at all levels
Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong commitment to achieving sales targets
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and network effectively
Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts
Willingness to travel within the Penang region and occasionally beyond
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, healthcare, business or sales
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are advantageous
Valid driving licence and own transportation preferred
