Job summary

PMG Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru invites a dedicated Medical Officer to join our clinical team. This full-time role focuses on direct patient care, accurate diagnoses, and treatment planning within a supportive, standards-driven environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality primary care, emphasise patient safety, and participate in ongoing professional development and health promotion activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent.
• Current MMC registration or equivalent regulatory eligibility.
• Completion of one year of internship/housemanship or equivalent clinical experience.
• Excellent clinical knowledge in general practice/primary care.
• Strong communication and teamwork with diverse patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in general practice.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Provide preventive care advice and health education.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all encounters.
• Collaborate with nurses and allied health professionals for coordinated care.
• Manage medical emergencies and arrange referrals as needed.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in CPD and stay updated with medical advancements.
• Contribute to quality improvement in clinical practice.
