This full-time role involves delivering high-quality medical services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring evidence-based patient care. Requirements include a Medical Degree (M.D. or equivalent), full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council, and at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in general practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council or equivalent medical regulatory body.
• Proficiency in Malay, English and Mandarin; Mandarin preferred for client communication.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-graduation experience in general practice or primary healthcare.
• Strong clinical knowledge and competence in managing common medical conditions.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse patients; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping and electronic health information systems.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining clinical competence.

Responsibilities

About the role

PMG Healthcare SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to join our healthcare team in Batu Kawa, Sarawak. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care within a growing healthcare organisation. As a Medical Officer, you will be at the forefront of delivering quality medical services, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive comprehensive and evidence-based care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by conducting thorough medical consultations, physical examinations and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and medical treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients seenRefer patients to specialist services when necessary and coordinate ongoing care
• Perform minor medical procedures as required within the scope of general practice
• Provide health education and preventative care advice to patients
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency medical situations as scheduled
• Comply with all medical regulations, professional standards and healthcare policies

What we're looking for
